The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.
During testing it was able to handle dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, like cheaper models do to identify your home.
Roomba s9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best-rated robots. It is a powerful cleaner and a variety of features that include an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits for cleaning and recommend automatic schedules to provide you with the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automatic cleaning functions at the push of the button. You can choose an overall clean that focuses on the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.
This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some others do and can clean up pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot says it will improve with the next models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a great improvement over the standard hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we discovered it to be only incrementally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also has an advanced filtration system, which prevents micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think it's a nice statement but not enough to justify a higher price.
Its smart navigation system utilizes sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and also set virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of what areas require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that can combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on more expensive models. The mopping system is even better - its spinning pads scrub floors better than an ordinary pad that vibrates.
The only drawback is the lack of a second brush for deeper cleaning. But that's not a big deal when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three cycles even when you have maximum dirt.
As for the mopping device, I was amazed by its ability to scrub off hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or watch TV without being distracted. It will gently bump into a wall or furniture and then move on when it encounters one.
What really sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely autonomously, requiring only a little for user intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically moves physical trash into the hidden bin, as well as washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is not right for example, the water tank being empty or a vacuuming session that is cancelled due to a full bin.

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd expect from a premium robot vacuum and mop and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, as well as an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. irobot vacuum and mop has a new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture and other objects.
The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it is sleeker and more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It is more than two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and cleans 1,500 square feet in one charge. It also has a bigger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.
Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and voice assistant that operates offline, so you can control it even when you're away from home. It also has a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a set path.
The X2 Omni is the best robot at mopping. Its mop pads that rotate scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it does the job well. It has a large rechargeable battery that can last up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and vacuum robot that comes with a range of features that you don't often see on robots at this price range. It can build detailed floor maps, detect different flooring types and is among the few to automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are nice, but they also place the L10s in the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.
Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner The L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish highlighted by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, while clicking it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The central control panel has the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will open the settings menu of the app where you can modify how the L10s Ultra works with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map your home. The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance which clears 98.4 percent of the debris from our hardwood floor test and removing all but the most difficult juice stains. The mops are also efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from our hard floor or quaker oats from the carpet.
